Canada is a vast land of many cultures and subcultures. For the most part Christmas and Hanukkah are the 2 most recognized holidays. In recent years schools have been introducing awareness of other holidays/celebrations that occur in and around the same time.
As a business, your clients come from all walks of life. If not your clients, their extended families and friends hear about your business, products and or services.
How do you brand around a holiday?
1 - Google search holidays and celebrations for each calendar month, research and gain knowledge in the holiday, read articles and learn the meaning of the celebration/holiday.
2 - Discover something about the holiday that really interests you, maybe its a colour, or a food, or a ceremony that is related to the holiday.
3 - Connect your interest to your service or product...
- If you are a coach and offer one on one sessions, for the month of the holiday, use the colour asscociated with the holiday in your marketing and advertising with a hashtag for the holiday, along with a quote - there are great apps like 'instaquote'
- If you are a Real Estate agent and you run monthly Newsletters, talk about the holiday and shed light on it and what you find interesting about it, highlight the communities that celebrate the holiday
- If you have a product, offer exclusive gift wrapping for the product with a Holiday card to match the holiday theme.
When you brand during all holiday's and Celebrations, you offer a warm welcome and create a sense of community within your businesses brand.
